You can’t win ’em all…

Quick hits

The Red Wings lost their first game in what feels like months, dropping a 2-1 decision to rival Chicago last night. However – for those of you concerned – it doesn’t get in the way of their home win streak, because they were playing at the United Center. So at least they have that going for them. The game also marked the return of Jimmy Howard – and you can’t blame the loss on a guy who only lets in two goals against a Blackhawks roster on a winning streak.

In other Red Wings news…a familiar face is returning to Hockeytown. Ken Holland just added a solid defenseman to the line-up, bringing back Kyle Quincey in a three-team trade. The addition makes the DRW blue line that much better, and strengthens their case for best back-end in the NHL.
