Not going to lie, I’m fighting a cold today. Add in the fact we have a paper going to print as soon as possible, and I’m one stressed out editor. But I fight forward, to give you, the hockey fans of Michigan and beyond, something to read while you power through your second, third, or fourth cup of coffee.

The Griffins were the lone Michigan team to play last night, and it was a big night for one of their newest players. Chris Conner, a native of Westland, recorded two shorthanded goals in a 3-0 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs. Conner becomes just the fourth Griffin to accomplish the feat.
