MSU’s Jerad Rosburg named Big Ten’s first star of the week
By @MichaelCaples –
Michigan State defenseman Jerad Rosburg had himself quite a Friday night in Grand Forks, N.D., and the Big Ten took notice.
In the Spartans’ victory over then No. 5-ranked North Dakota, Rosburg scored two goals, and had the primary assist on the game-winning goal.
It was an offensive outburst for Rosburg, who had only one goal and no assists heading into the contest.
Rosburg’s performance is a welcome sight to MSU – the highly-touted defenseman was forced to miss his entire freshman season after needing surgery prior to starting with the Spartans.
