The Big Ten has announced their weekly awards list, and two Michigan natives cracked the line-up.

Michigan forward Alex Kile was named the conference’s first star, while Michigan State forward Mackenzie MacEachern was named the third star of the week.

Kile, a Troy native, recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-2 loss at Boston University on Friday night, and followed that performance up with the Wolverines’ game-winner in a 4-2 victory the next night.

MacEachern, also a Troy native, recorded two goals and an assist in the Spartans’ weekend set with Michigan Tech – a series that ended with an OT loss and an OT tie (with a shootout win) for Michigan State.
