WATCH: HoneyBaked goaltender Luca Di Pasquo scores a goal

By @MichaelCaples –

You’ve seen it in the NHL and you’ve seen it in college.

You don’t see it very often in youth hockey, however.

Tonight, HoneyBaked 16U goaltender Luca Di Pasquo capped off a win over Belle Tire by scoring a goal.

“I’ve always thought about scoring,” Di Pasquo told MiHockey. “As the guy crossed the red line, I said to myself that if he shoots it, I’ll send it.

“Then it all happened and I was in shock.”

Check out the video, captured by his dad on his GoPro behind the HoneyBaked net:

The Belle Tire player who sent the puck on goal even got in on the fun postgame, as Brendan Kelley said he should get an assist before congratulating Di Pasquo.

Di Pasquo, pictured below with his ‘first goal’ puck, is in the midst of his second 16U season after suiting up for Compuware last fall. He was drafted by the Soo Greyhounds in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection.
