Recruiting: Thomas Daskas commits to Air Force

Thomas Daskas will be on his way to Colorado Springs soon.

The Rochester Hills native and Lone Star Brahmas forward has made his commitment to Air Force for his NCAA hockey career.

The 20-year-old forward, a product of Rochester United and the Belle Tire 18U team, is in the midst of his third junior season.

raskas spent one year with the Kemptville 73’s of the CCHL in 2017-18 before joining the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL last season.

He spent three games with the Mudbugs before landing in Texas, where he suited up for the Brahmas for 41 games and eight points.

This year, Daskas has already racked up 17 points in just 20 games for the Brahmas. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward has three game-winning goals and 12 assists on the season.
