Check out MiHockey’s photos from the Grand Rapids Griffins’ 2019 home opener, as the Red Wings’ AHL affiliate officially kicked off the home portion of their 2019-2020 season at Van Andel Arena on Friday night. The Milwaukee Admirals weren’t bothered by the opening ceremonies, however, as the visitors ended up winning 4-1 in the contest.
