Pat Nagle is back in Grand Rapids.

The Griffins announced today that they have signed the Bloomfield Hills native and Ferris State alum to a one-year contract.

Last season, Nagle spent the majority of the season with the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye, helping the club reach their first-ever Kelly Cup Final. He registered a 14-10 record with a 2.03 goals-against average, .931 save percentage and one shutout in the postseason.

Nagle has played in three career games with the Griffins since 2014-15; he is 1-0-1 with a 2.59 goals-against and .900 save percentage in the time frame.

He signed one-year deals with the Griffins the past two seasons; he has also signed professional tryout agreements on two separate occasions.
