Recruiting: Ryan Beck commits to Denver

By @MichaelCaples –

Ryan Beck had a busy 2018-19 season.

He has capped it off with a college commitment.

The Belle Tire 16U forward announced his commitment to Denver today.

“I chose Denver because it felt like another home to me,” Beck told MiHockey. “The style of play that they play fits me as a person and as a player.”

Beck, a Linden native, spent the majority of the season with the BT 16U group, but he also played in 11 games with BT 18U (per Elite Prospects).

The Dubuque Fighting Saints draftee also played in nine games with his USHL club throughout the season, as well.

The hard work paid off with his verbal to the Pioneers.

“The history of the school is really special – I’m excited that I can be a part of it,” Beck said.
