On Feb. 17, NBC will be making Hockeytown the central hub for its “Hockey Day in America” broadcast.

The NBC hockey studio will be relocated to Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit.

For the 2019 edition of NBC’s “Hockey Day in America” broadcast, the day will begin at noon ET with a half-hour pregame show because two games on the network – New York at Pittsburgh and St. Louis at Minnesota.

The 2019 Rivalry Series between the U.S. and Canada women’s teams will be concluding that day at Little Caesars Arena, as the Red Wings’ home plays host to a noon ET contest. That game will be on NHL Network.

NBC’s “Hockey Day” broadcast will conclude with the evening contest between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Wings at LCA; puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.

Hockey Day in America kicks off USA Hockey’s 2019 Hockey Week Across America, which runs from Feb. 17-24.

“This week provides an opportunity to celebrate all the players, coaches, officials and volunteers who make hockey so special,” said Pat Kelleher, executive director of USA Hockey. “It’s also an opportunity to introduce new families to our game. We’re particularly excited this year as we begin the celebration with our U.S. Women’s National Team facing off against Canada in Detroit on NHL Network and with NBC’s incredible Hockey Day in America coverage of our sport.”
