Expansion Draft results released

The Golden Knights will officially have a hockey team by the end of Wednesday night.

During the NHL Awards Show, the selections made by the Las Vegas expansion franchise in the Expansion Draft were officially announced.

MiHockey is following along tonight to chart out which players are selected, most notably who goes from the Red Wings and what Michigan names are now relocating to Sin City.

Tomas Nosek is the Red Wings player selected. The 24-year-old forward was a free-agent signing of the Wings after he went undrafted; he posted 41 points in 51 games with the Griffins this past season, and appeared in 11 games with Detroit.

Nosek appeared in a total of 17 games with the Wings over two seasons, recording a total of four points.
