Four Michigan names crack OHL All-Star Teams list

The Ontario Hockey League has released its 2017 All-Star Teams, and four Michigan names appear on the list.

Congrats to the following players – three Michigan natives and one Red Wings prospect.

 

First Team

Right Wing – Alex DeBrincat (Erie Otters) – Farmington Hills native
65 goals, 62 assists, 127 points, +60 rating

 

Second Team

Defense – Ryan Mantha (Niagara IceDogs) – Clarkston native
17 goals, 41 assists, 58 points, 70 penalty minutes

Goaltender – Tyler Parsons (London Knights) – Chesterfield native
23-6-3 record, .925 save percentage, 2.37 goals-against average

 

Third Team

Defense – Filip Hronek (Saginaw Spirit) – Detroit Red Wings prospect
14 goals, 47 assists, 61 points, +15 rating (currently with the Grand Rapids Griffins for their AHL playoff run)
