Volunteers needed for IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship in Plymouth/Ann Arbor

By @MichaelCaples –

Some of the best players in the world are coming to Plymouth and Ann Arbor this April for the 2020 IIHF Under-18 Men’s World Championship, and the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association is asking for volunteers to help at the prestigious tournament.

Volunteers are needed in the following roles for the tournament, which will take place April 16-26 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth and the Ann Arbor Ice Cube:

  • Team hosts
  • Drivers to transport officials to games
  • Player chaperones to escort players for random drug testing
  • Event ushers

If you’re interested in helping, please contact MAHA’s Gordon Bowman at gordonrbowman @ gmail.com or 734-277-2246. The main perk for volunteering? Free hockey!
