MHSAA to limit attendance but continue with Boys’ Ice Hockey State Tournament

The MHSAA Boys’ Ice Hockey Tournament will continue as planned amid coronavirus concerns, but fans will have to watch the games on MHSAA.tv.

The governing body for high school athletics announced this morning that the semifinals and finals will take place as scheduled starting tonight, but attendance is limited to parents, legal guardians and essential administrators.

The MHSAA has banned all spectators for other sports, but cited that hockey has fewer participants (only two teams at a time), which allows for limited spectator numbers.
