PHOTOS: Detroit Catholic Central, Livonia Stevenson square off in “Game of the Year”

It was moved to the sheet of ice with arena seating, and for good reason. When Detroit Catholic Central and Livonia Stevenson met on Saturday, it was a battle between the No. 1-ranked team in Division (DCC) and the No. 1-ranked team in Division 2 (Stevenson). The Michigan High School Hockey Hub hailed it as “The Game of the Year,” also pointing to the fact that MyHockeyRankings had the teams ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the state, as well. More than 2,000 people showed up to watch them on the NHL side of USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth. Check out MiHockey’s photos from the game below; DCC ended up prevailing 4-0.
