The Muskegon Lumberjacks announced a big trade Tuesday afternoon with the Omaha Lancers.

In the deal, the ‘Jacks acquire Traverse City native Dylan Davies, Rem Pitlick’s younger brother Rhett, and Omaha commit Cam Berg.

“These are the types of players that will help build championships in Muskegon,” said Steve Lowe, Lumberjacks President of Hockey Operations. “Pitlick is one of the most dynamic players in the United States Hockey League, while Berg and Davies bring athleticism to our team.”

The Lumberjacks also acquire Soo native Tyler Dunbar – an affiliate player – and three Phase 1 and 2 draft picks.

In exchange, the club sends forward Luke Mobley and defenseman Nash Nienhuis, along with futures player Wilson Cullin and a pair of Phase 1 and 2 draft picks.

Davies, a RPI commit, joins Dylan Wendt as recent Michigan natives returning home via trade acquisitions by the Lumberjacks. Wendt, a Grand Haven native, is a Michigan commit who has appeared in three games with Muskegon since his trade.
