Alec Regula named to CHL Team of the Week

By @MichaelCaples –

Alec Regula had such a good week that he was named one of the top two defensemen in the CHL during the timeframe.

The West Bloomfield native and Red Wings draft pick was named to the Vaughn CHL Team of the Week for performances between Oct. 7 and Oct. 13, after a big week for his London Knights club.

Regula registered five points – three goals and two assists – in two games. He posted a season-high three points in a game against Saginaw on Saturday.

The Cranbrook, Compuware and HoneyBaked alum has 10 points in five games to start the season – a great sign after he missed most of the off-season with a lingering lower-body injury. Regula is second on his team in scoring.
