Red Wings announce 2019 NHL Prospect Tournament roster

Ahead of this weekend’s annual NHL Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, the Red Wings have unveiled their roster for the event.

This year’s group is highlighted by recent first-round picks Moritz Seider, Filip Zadina and Joe Veleno.

West Bloomfield native and London Knights defenseman Alec Regula (67th overall, 2018) is the lone Michigan native on the roster. Former Michigan State standout and a free agent signee last year, Taro Hirose is also on the squad.

Flint Firebirds forward Cody Morgan is a free agent invite, while Northern Michigan alum Troy Loggins will also be in attendance.
