Red Wings’ 2019-2020 schedule announced

The Detroit Red Wings’ schedule for the upcoming season is here.

The Wings will start Oct. 5 in Nashville; their home opener will be the next day against Dallas in Detroit.

The Wings will host 22 weekend home games before their regular season concludes on April 4 against Tampa Bay.

Saturday, Oct. 12 against Toronto

Saturday, Oct. 22 against Quinn Hughes and the Vancouver Canucks

Tuesday, Oct. 29 against Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers

Friday, Nov. 8 against Torey Krug and the Boston Bruins

Sunday, Nov. 10 against the Las Vegas Golden Knights

Saturday, Dec. 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins

Thursday, Dec. 12 against the Winnipeg Jets

Tuesday, Dec. 17 against Zach Werenski and the Columbus Blue Jackets

Tuesday, Dec. 31 against the San Jose Sharks (New Year’s Eve)

Tuesday, Jan. 7 against the Montreal Canadiens
