By @StefanKubus –

The Victory Honda 16U and ’04 boys are teaming up to collect new baby items for military families.

On Feb. 9, the 16U and ’04 teams will each take on Fox Motors in two charity games at the Victory Ice Center to benefit Operation Shower, a 501(c)(3) established to honor and support military families in the United States. The ’04 team will first play at 10:30 a.m. before the 16U game at noon.

Attendees are asked to consider bringing any of the following items to donate: books, stuffed teddy bears, baby outfits, shoes/socks, sunglasses, hand-made knit hats, bibs, pacifiers, bottles, teether/rattles, toys, rubber ducky, bath towels, wash cloths, pajamas, crib blanket/sheets and mattress covers. Otherwise, a donation of $5 is asked for entry into the game. All proceeds will benefit Operation Shower.

Two collection boxes can now be found in the Victory Ice Center lobby and will also be available prior to the games on Feb. 9.
