NTDP’s annual Star Wars Night to support C.S. Mott slated for this Saturday

The tradition continues this Saturday for USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program.

Team USA’s annual Star Wars Night will take place at USA Hockey Arena this Saturday when the Under-17 Team takes on the Central Illinois Flying Aces at 7 p.m.

For the sixth time, the NTDP will suit up in Star Wars-themed jerseys; said jerseys will be auctioned off online to raise money for C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Each year, the jerseys feature different Star Wars icons; this year’s new look can be seen in the image above and in the video embedded below.

That tradition began when the NTDP was skating out of the Ann Arbor Ice Cube – despite their move to Plymouth, they continue to support the nearby hospital, and they have raised more than $25,000 for it since the first edition of Star Wars Night.
