By @MichaelCaples –

This Sunday, hockey fans can not only check out a battle between Lake Superior State and Team USA, but they can also meet four gold-medalists from the 2018 U.S. Olympic Women’s Ice Hockey Team, as well.

Amanda Kessel, Hannah Brandt, Nicole Hensley and Farmington Hills’ own Megan Keller will be in attendance for the NTDP Under-18 Team’s latest battle in their 2018-19 college series.

The Women’s Team members will take part in a ceremonial puck drop prior to the 2 p.m. ET contest, and then participate in an autograph and photo opportunity with fans starting during the first intermission.

Ticket info can be found here.

Lake Superior State is the fourth of sixth college programs to come through USA Hockey Arena for exhibition contests with the NTDP Under-18 Team this season. Minnesota visited on Oct. 13; Bowling Green came through on Nov. 21 and Maine stopped in on Dec. 8. On Jan. 1, Team USA will host Holy Cross; on Jan. 8, they will host Adrian College.

The U18s have recorded road victories over the likes of Notre Dame and Michigan this season.

The U.S. women are in town for the upcoming USA Hockey Women’s Winter Training Camp, which will take place in Plymouth from Dec. 17-21. All practices and scrimmages are free to the public – a full schedule can be found here.
