Wolverines find revenge, split weekend with LSSU

Friday night, the Wolverines’ visit to Sault Ste. Marie started in an uncomfortable fashion.

Saturday, No. 12 Michigan righted the ship.

In the second night of a weekend series at Taffy Abel Arena, the Wolverines recorded a 5-3 win over Lake Superior State.

Josh Norris scored twice, while Jack Becker, Jake Slaker and Quinn Hughes also recorded goals for the Wolverines.

Freshman Strauss Mann was between the pipes for the Wolverines; he stopped 28 saves in his second collegiate victory.



The win comes after Lake Superior State started the weekend with a 5-2 victory Friday night. More on that game below:
