USA Hockey has announced that the best rivalry in women’s hockey will play out at the home of the Detroit Red Wings on Feb. 17.

It will be part of a three-game series between the neighbors; they will play in London on Feb. 12 and Feb. 14 in Toronto.

Puck drop will be at noon E.T., and it will be a headlining event for Hockey Weekend Across America.

“It’s great to bring the excitement of the U.S.-Canada rivalry to Detroit, a city with such a rich hockey history,” said Pat Kelleher, executive director of USA Hockey, in a release. “When our teams meet, the speed, the skill and the passion on display are really unparalleled.

“One of our objectives is to ensure that this game is affordable for families so that as many people as possible have the chance to experience this great rivalry in person.”
