Ryan Larkin named player, goaltender of the month by the NCHC

He earned multiple weekly awards from his college hockey conference, and now, he’s receiving some bigger accolades.

Ryan Larkin has been named the player and goaltender of the month by the National Collegiate Hockey Conference after a dominating start to the 2018-19 season with Miami.

The Clarkston native recorded a 0.83 goals-against average, a .966 save percentage and three shutouts in the first month of the season.

Larkin holds a 5-1-0 record on the season; his goals-against and save percentage are both best in the NCAA among netminders with more than two starts.
