Report: Red Wings claim Jacob de la Rose off waivers

The Red Wings have apparently added a new forward.

Today, Detroit claimed Jacob de la Rose off waivers from Montreal, per Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada.

The 23-year-old forward was the No. 34 overall pick in 2013.

He has recorded eight goals and 19 points in 119 NHL games. Last season, he played in 55 games with the Canadiens.
