PHOTOS: Connor, Copp, Trouba and the Jets take down Red Wings

Even without Commerce native Connor Hellebuyck starting between the pipes, the Winnipeg Jets’ Michigan natives enjoyed their return to Hockeytown Friday night, as Kyle Connor, Andrew Copp and Jacob Trouba recorded a victory against their hometown team. Winnipeg beat Detroit 2-1 at Little Caesars Arena, with Connor scoring the Jets’ first goal. Andreas Athanasiou scored the lone goal for the Wings, who now sit at 1-7-2 on the season.
