Zadina scores overtime GWG in Boston, Red Wings now 6-0 in preseason

The Wings are still perfect…in the preseason.

Filip Zadina broke a 2-2 tie in overtime tonight in Boston, as the Red Wings topped the Bruins 3-2 to improve to 6-0 in the eight-game preseason.

Gustav Nyquist and Dennis Cholowski both scored in regulation for Detroit, while Jonathan Bernier made 21 saves.

All three of the Wings’ scorers now have two goals in the preseason.

The Red Wings will now close out the preseason with a home-and-home series against the Maple Leafs. Friday, the two Original Six franchises battle in Toronto, then both make the trip down to Little Caesars Arena for the Wings to close out the preseason at home Saturday evening.
