Dallas Stars sign Ben Gleason to entry-level contract

Ben Gleason was logging a lot of minutes for the Stars at the 2018 NHL Prospect Tournament, and the Dallas management group must have liked what they saw.

Gleason, an Ortonville native, has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Stars, the Texas-based NHL franchise announced today.

The 20-year-old defenseman recorded 48 points in 63 regular-season contests with OHL champion Hamilton last season; he has spent the last four seasons with the Bulldogs and the London Knights.

Gleason played for Honeybaked prior to starting his OHL career in 2014-15.
