NTDP announces 2018-19 college hockey home schedule

By @MichaelCaples –

There will be a new group of college hockey programs coming through Plymouth this upcoming season.

USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program announced its home slate of NCAA games for the 2018-19 campaign, as the NTDP builds on last year’s venture into hosting college teams for exhibition contests.

The University of Minnesota will be at USA Hockey Arena on Oct. 13, while Bowling Green State University will take part in a Thanksgiving Eve game on Nov. 21.

The University of Maine will visit Plymouth on Dec. 8, while Lake Superior State will make the drive down on Dec. 16.

On New Year’s Day, the NTDP will battle the College of Holy Cross, and then on Jan. 8, Adrian College will wrap up the college slate of home games at USAH Arena.

Last year, the NTDP hosted college games for the first time – Michigan, Michigan State, Ferris State, Notre Dame and Miami were just some of the visitors.
