Red Wings announce third annual Street Hockey Summer Tour at Meijer locations across Michigan

The Detroit Red Wings announced Tuesday the details surrounding its third annual Street Hockey Summer Tour.

Starting July 16, the Red Wings will travel to Meijer parking lots throughout the state of Michigan to host clinics. Children ages 7-12 of all skill levels and hockey experience can sign up to participate in one of the events.

Each stop on the tour features two sessions, one for children ages 7-9 and one for children ages 10-12, with the younger age group starting at 10:00 a.m. followed by the older group at 1:00 p.m. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and exclusive merchandise and prizes, courtesy of the Red Wings and Meijer.

*If the scheduled date of the Street Hockey Summer tour is rained out, the makeup date is the following day at the same time and location. If the makeup date is rained out, the Red Wings and Meijer will reschedule the event following the completion of the tour.
