PHOTOS: Wolverines sweep Badgers with Saturday night win

The Michigan Wolverines are advancing to the Big Ten semifinals.

With a 7-4 victory Saturday evening at Yost Ice Arena, the University of Michigan has secured a series sweep of the Wisconsin Badgers in the first round of the conference tournament.

Dexter Dancs scored twice, while Jack Becker, Brendan Warren, Dakota Raabe and Jake Slaker all found the back of the net for the Wolverines. Hayden Lavigne made 28 saves in the victory.

The Wolverines will now take on Ohio State in a single-elimination contest in Columbus March 10 with a spot in the Big Ten title game on the line. (Photos by Andrew Knapik/MiHockey)
