Check out the NTDP’s 2018 Military Appreciation Weekend jerseys

By @MichaelCaples –

One weekend every season, USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program salutes the troops, and they always wear some awesome threads while doing so.

Check out the NTDP’s 2018 Military Appreciation Weekend jerseys:

The NTDP will wear those jerseys for a pair of games against the Chicago Steel this Friday and Saturday at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth. Friday’s contest will be the USA Military Appreciation and Family Night – the NTDP will host a completely cost-free event for local military members and their families that includes a reception, activities for the kids and tickets to the game. Last year, 500 veterans and family members attended the event; there have already been 800 reservations this year.

Saturday is the ‘USA Salute to Heroes Night’ in Plymouth – Team USA will celebrate veterans from all eras and local first responders. Free tickets for first responders are available by clicking here.

The jerseys worn by Team USA over the weekend will be auctioned off on the Meigray Auctions website; all proceeds will go to the Michigan Veterans Region 9 VCAT.

The first 1,000 fans through the doors on Friday will receive a Team USA camo Koozie, too.

Ticket info can be found here.
