Matt Acciaioli is heading to Marquette.
The Rochester Hills native and Corpus Christi IceRays defenseman (NAHL) announced today that he has committed to Northern Michigan University.
“Being from Michigan, NMU is a great opportunity to continue my hockey career,” Acciaioli told MiHockey. “I think my game will fit in with style of hockey NMU likes to play.
“I’m looking forward to being a part of the team and making an impact.”
Acciaioli, 20, is in the midst of his third season in the NAHL. The Belle Tire product has 26 points in 35 games this year.
He was recently selected to play for Team South in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth later this month.
