PHOTOS: Wolverines complete weekend sweep of No. 1 Notre Dame

On Friday in South Bend, the Michigan Wolverines shocked the No. 1-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a 4-2 win. On Sunday in Ann Arbor, it was the same result. The Wolverines shut out the top team in the country, meaning that captain Tony Calderone’s second-period tally was the only goal necessary for Michigan to complete the sweep of their now-Big Ten rival. Hayden Lavigne recorded 35 saves for his 12th win and third shutout of the season, as the Wolverines improved to 16-13-3 on the season. (Photos by Michael Caples/MiHockey)
