Turgeon, Hicketts sent back to Grand Rapids

The call-up has concluded for two of the Red Wings’ top young prospects.

Detroit has announced that both forward Dominic Turgeon and defenseman Joe Hicketts back to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Turgeon played in four games in his first NHL call-up, recording a -1 rating with no points.

Hicketts was a +1 in Monday’s game against New Jersey; that was his lone appearance in his time with the NHL club.
