Oakland Jr. Grizzlies to honor Joey Gangola in first alumni game

When the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies host the youth hockey organization’s first-ever alumni game this holiday season, they will be honoring and remembering a friend they recently lost.

The first annual OJG Alumni Game will be a fundraising effort for the family of Joey Gangola.

There will be a $1 minimum entry fee and auction items to bid on during the game, which will take place on Friday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. inside the Troy Sports Center.

More than 35 OJG alumni currently playing in the AHL, NCAA, USHL (including NTDP), OHL, BCHL and NAHL will be in attendance.
