MIHL-KLAA Challenge Showcase set to bring top high school teams together this Saturday

College basketball has the B1G-ACC Challenge.

Now high school hockey has the MIHL-KLAA Challenge Showcase.

On Saturday, some of the top high school hockey teams in the state will be invading Eddie Edgar Arena in Livonia for a day of games that start at 9 a.m. and go well past 9 p.m.

Here’s the game-by-game breakdown; showcase organizers paired teams based off last year’s final rankings.

9 a.m. – Grand Blanc vs. Livonia Franklin

10 a.m. – Canton vs. Grosse Pointe North

11 a.m. – Howell vs. Port Huron Northern

12 p.m. – Novi vs. U of D Jesuit (No. 8 in D1)

1 p.m. – Salem vs. Trenton (No. 5 in D2)

2:30 p.m. – Northville vs. Warren De La Salle (No. 4 in D3)

3:30 p.m. – Livonia Churchill (No. 6 in D3) vs. Grosse Pointe South

4:30 p.m. – Plymouth (No. 3 in D2) vs. Cranbrook (No. 5 in D1)

5:30 p.m. – Livonia Stevenson (No. 1 in D2) vs. Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (No. 3 in D1)

6:30 p.m. – Hartland (No. 2 in D2) vs. Brother Rice (No. 4 in D2)

7:30 p.m. – Brighton (No. 1 in D1) vs. Catholic Central (No. 2 in D1)
