Michigan leads list of players selected for USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

When the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game takes place in Nebraska on Jan. 9, there will be more Michigan names there than any other state.

The following players have received invites for the annual showcase, designed to promote the top draft-eligible players in the United States’ top junior league.

 

Team West

Paul Cotter – Lincoln Stars (Canton)

Matthew Kessel – Fargo Force (West Bloomfield)

Christian Krygier – Lincoln Stars (Novi)

Cole Krygier – Lincoln Stars (Novi)

Travis Mitchell – Omaha Lancers (South Lyon)

Ryan Savage – Fargo Force (Honeybaked alum)

Phillippe Lapointe – Lincoln Stars (Michigan commit)

Jack Randl – Omaha Lancers (Michigan commit)

 

Team East

Max Ellis – Youngstown Phantoms (Canton)

Xan Gurney – Chicago Steel (Grosse Ile)

Jacob Semik – Dubuque Fighting Saints (Canton)

Jachym Kondelik – Muskegon Lumberjacks

Matej Pekar – Muskegon Lumberjacks (Oakland Jr. Grizzlies alum)

Emilio Pettersen – Muskegon Lumberjacks

Aidan Fulp – Dubuque Fighting Saints (Victory Honda alum, Western Michigan commit)
