The Detroit Red Wings have announced details for the team’s 10th annual Military Appreciation Night, which will take place on Saturday against Columbus.

More than 100 active and former military members will be guests of BELFOR Property Restoration and the Red Wings at the game.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a red, white and blue Military Appreciation hat courtesy of the Wings.

Detroit will be wearing camouflage jerseys and use camouflage-taped sticks during pre-game warm-ups. They will be auctioned off online to raise money for Volunteers of America Michigan.

Fans will also be able to buy military-themed stainless steel water bottles that will support facilities for homeless veterans in southeastern Michigan.

Brigadier General John D. Slocum, Commander 127th Wing at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, will take part in a ceremonial face-off.

Members of the Michigan Warriors will be at the game, as well, to discuss their program and how people can join or help.
