PHOTOS: Movember Prostate Awareness Game between Oakland Jr. Grizzlies and Honeybaked 16U

On Nov. 15, the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies and Honeybaked 16U teams battled on the ice, while fighting together off of it. The two programs held the first annual Movember Prostate Awareness Game at the Troy Sports Center. Wearing unique jerseys for the event, the two teams accepted donations at the door and held a raffle contest to raise money for the Movember Foundation – raising nearly $3,000 in the process. The two teams also honored Bill Deskins – father of HB 16U coach Jason Deskins who is battling prostate cancer himself – with a jersey presentation prior to puck drop.
