Eastside Elite All-Star Game draft list unveiled

The Eastside Elite All-Star Game will feature some prominent names, per usual.

On Saturday, Chesterfield native, Lake Superior State alum and Anaheim Ducks defenseman Steve Oleksy released the All-Star Game draft list on Twitter.

The 64 chosen players across 58 teams in 16 different leagues were named – including numerous Michigan natives – and will be drafted by the four team captains: Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin (Waterford), Red Wings defenseman Danny DeKeyser (Macomb), Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski (Grosse Pointe Woods) and Tampa Bay Lightning forward Vlad Namestnikov.

Thomas Ebbing, Johnny Gruden, MacKenzie MacEachern, Jalen Smereck, Charles Williams, Matt DeBlouw, Nick Schilkey, Nolan Valleau, Cody Milan, Logan Lambdin, Alex Kile, Cam Johnson, Josh Jacobs, Jacob Semik, Garret Ross, Wyatt Bongiovanni, Noah Lalonde, Paul Cotter, Alex DeBrincat, Jack Kopacka, Colin Larkin, Ryan Larkin, Austin Czarnik, Drake Rymsha and Corey Tropp highlight the crop of the top Eastside Elite League players who will participate in the All-Star Game.

The game will take place Thursday, July 27 at Mt. Clemens Ice Arena with a start time of 6:45 p.m.
