Wolverines’ Luke Martin selected by Carolina in the 2017 NHL Draft

Luke Martin will be heading to Carolina when he’s done in Ann Arbor.

The NTDP alum and Wolverines defenseman was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes at No. 52 overall in the 2017 NHL Draft.

As a rookie blueliner for the B1G program, Martin recorded one goal and six assists in 35 games played.

The St. Louis native played for the NTDP from 2014-16.
