Drew DeRidder’s coming back home.

The Fenton native will be joining USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program Under-18 Team for the 2017-18 season. He and Highland Park, Ill., native Jon Mor will be the new-look goaltending tandem for the NTDP in the upcoming campaign.

DeRidder, a Michigan State commit, was called up to the USHL’s Cedar Rapids RoughRiders as a 16-year-old goaltender last October, and he played so well that he stayed for the remainder of the season.

In 41 games with a struggling RoughRiders squad in front of him, the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies product posted 10 wins, two shutouts, a 3.26 goals-against average and .890 save percentage.

Mor, meanwhile, has played for the Chicago Young Americans the last two seasons.
