PHOTOS: Michigan Tech wins WCHA title in Houghton

This past summer, the Western Collegiate Hockey Association made the decision to move its playoffs from neutral sites to on-campus locations, and on Saturday night, Michigan Tech became the first team to host a WCHA title game with the new structure. The Huskies didn’t disappoint, treating the fans at the MacInnes Student Ice Arena to a double-overtime thriller before Shane Hanna scored for the home team.
