Michigan Tech goaltender Angus Redmond signs NHL contract with Anaheim

Angus “Beef” Redmond had a remarkable freshman season with the Michigan Tech Huskies, and now, an NHL team has locked him up.
The Anaheim Ducks signed Redmond to a three-year entry-level contract, the NHL club announced today.

Redmond, a native of Langley, B.C., posted a 22-10-5 record with a .917 save percentage in his lone season with the Huskies.
