USA Hockey has announced its roster for the upcoming Women’s World Championship in Plymouth this April, and Megan Keller will be representing the state of Michigan close to her hometown.

Keller, a Farmington native, was just named the Hockey East Women’s Player of the Year after helping Boston College to a second-straight Hockey East title.

Yesterday it was announced that Robb Stauber will coach the Team USA squad – he will be joined by associate coach Brett Strott and assistant coaches Paul Mara (Plymouth Whalers alum) and Chris Tamer (Dexter, Mich.). Mike Richter will serve as the goaltending coach.

Keller, 20, has played on the last two Women’s World Championship rosters, helping Team USA to back-to-back gold medals.
