In the middle of November, 124 girls teams will be coming to Michigan from across North America to take part in a massive girls’ hockey tournament once again.

The Bauer World Invite and 200×85 have combined to run the weekend event from Nov. 11-13 in the Metro-Detroit area.

“The Bauer World Hockey Invite serves as an annual event to bring some of the best girls’ youth teams to Metro Detroit for a fun weekend,” said tournament director Julie Pardoski. “We strive to make it an exceptional experience for all the participants, and it’s great to bring so many girls together as we work towards growing the game.”

The Bauer World Invite is offering play at the U12, U14, U16 and U19 age groups and Tier 1/Tier II classifications (A and AA for Canadian teams).

Additionally, there will be a number of events complimenting the experience for the girls’ teams participating, such as 200×85 giving away two free customized Bauer sticks of the winners’ choosing. There will also be a pair of Bauer Experience events, one on Friday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. at Novi Ice Arena and one the following day at the Onyx-Rochester Ice Arena also at 10 a.m., where girls can try out the latest Bauer equipment.
