Spirit announce ‘name the mascot’ contest

The Saginaw Spirit are asking for fan assistance in naming their new mascot.

Starting today, fans can email info@saginawspirit.com with “Name the Mascot” in the subject line. The Spirit staff will determine the top three names and hold a vote from Nov. 2 through Nov. 4 on the Saginaw Facebook and Twitter pages.

The person who submits the winning name – which will be announced on Nov. 5 during the team’s home game against the Barrie Colts – will win two tickets to the unveiling game, along with a special meet and great with the new mascot and a Spirit merchandise prize pack.
