There aren’t any Michigan residents on this year’s Mike Richter Award finalists, but there is one Michigan native.

Troy native Cam Johnson is one of the five goaltenders selected as finalists for the prestigious award, given annually to the top goaltender in college hockey.

Johnson, a sophomore goaltender at North Dakota, holds a 20-3-1 record, a 1.58 goals-against average and .926 save percentage this season, along with five shutouts.

The other finalists are Kevin Boyle of UMass-Lowell, Thatcher Demko of Boston College, Charlie Lindgren of St. Cloud State and Alex Lyon of Yale.
